We are a 133-bed facility with a Nurse Practitioner located on-site Monday – Friday. Our Medical Director, Dr. Lapuma, is a prestigious and well-known hospitalist in Marion county. Avante at Ocala is proud to be known for assisting families in need with smooth and anxiety-free transitioning of our short-term rehab pts to Long term care when needed. Our beautiful Short-term rehab unit is comprised of 29 spacious rooms with a family lounge area. Our physical therapy department is one of the best in Ocala; we have satisfied patients return to our facility to visit and recommend family and friends because of our outstanding outcomes and accelerated recovery.
